We
accept most health plans including Medicaid, all Salud plans and Medicare. We
have active open panel enrollment for Presbyterian, BlueCross/BlueShield,
Lovelace Health Plan, Cigna and United. At El Pueblo Health Services, anyone is
eligible to receive services. We provide a sliding fee payment structure, based
upon the total household income and size of the family, according to proof of
income. Minimum Charges are required for medical and pharmacy services. No one
is denied care due to their inability to pay.
For Sandoval County residents who qualify we can also aid you in applying for
the Sandoval
County Health Care Assistance Program.

El Pueblo Health Services, INC is a private, not for profit, Community Health Center. It was incorporated by a group of volunteer Board of Directors in 1987 after the National Health Service Corps eliminated funding for Sandoval County. At that time Dr. Alan Firestone left the NHSC and joined EPHS as their full time physician, serving the Town of Bernalillo and the surrounding communities that include Placitas, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, and the Pueblos of San Felipe, Jemez, Santa Ana and Cochiti.
